About Alexander
Alexander is one of the four Founders Find Neuro Help. Like the other three, Alexander also volunteered to serve a mission for his church. He was sent to the San Francisco Bay area of California and then later to Mexico. While on his mission, Alexander had the opportunity to serve a diverse socioeconomic spectrum of people; from some of the wealthiest to the poorest. This experience gave him a unique perspective on serving his fellowman.
“All of us, regardless of our station in life, have difficulties and challenges that can seem overwhelming and can bring with them moments of despair. However, I have learned that the best way to overcome the difficulties of life, is to lose oneself in the service of others. Providing service helps to clean the lens through which we see the world and ourselves in it.”
Professionally, Alexander spent 26 years in the telecommunications and data networking industry helping businesses achieve their goals and objectives through the prudent implementation of communications and data technology. He started out as an Account Executive and later became a successful Sales Consultant helping Fortune 100 companies. He moved into management as a Sales Director and V.P. of Sales for an Internet start-up. He built a reputation of being a dedicated, ethical, and customer-centric sales professional and received numerous awards, and was recognized as a sales leader throughout his career.
Alexander received his Bachelor’s in Business Administration from American Inter-Continental University in 2003.
Unfortunately, in 2004, Alexander had an accident that required multiple back surgeries and an extended recovery period which forced him to end his career in telecommunications. Since 2014, he has been involved with Find Neuro Help and views it as a new opportunity for him to improve his life by improving the lifes of others.
Personally, Alexander has been happily married for over 36 years and has eight children, five of whom are married, and ten grandchildren. They are the most important people in his life. He continues to serve his community through various service projects and is an instructor in his church.
Why Find Neuro Help? Alexander’s back-story.
Raised by a single parent, Alexander’s mother suffered from mental illness (depression and anxiety), and for as long as he could remember she was dependent on medication to counteract its effects.
“Back then they called it a ‘nervous breakdown’ and the way they treated it was to prescribe a mix of anti-depressants and amphetamines. Being a single parent of three young children in the 50’s and early 60’s was extremely difficult. Add to that mental illness, and life, at times, became almost unbearable for my mother. When a loved one struggles with a mental illness, such as depression, you feel helpless. You want so much to lift their spirits and make things better. But you can’t. My mother had an intense love for life and adventure, and she fought every day to prevent that love from being stolen from her. She is the bravest woman I have ever known.”
Alexander’s love for his mother and a desire to help others struggling with the challenges of depression are the motivators that caused him to become involved in the creation of Find Neuro Help.
